Auditorium and Studio for Hire

Conveniently situated in the centre of Newport, we have a variety of rooms which are for hire at hourly, daily or weekly rates. These include rehearsal rooms that can be used for dance classes, training sessions and as social venues. You can hire just one space or the whole theatre.

We have a main auditorium and a studio which are regularly used by a variety of performing companies. Occasionally the Foyer area is also used for informal or experimental shows.

Our Rooms

Main Auditorium

Main theatre space has 400 seats, orchestra pit and a 40ft x 32ft stage. The stage has an adjustable pros arch and counterweighted flying system. There is an excellent lighting rig with computerised lighting desk, a follow spot and a basic sound system. This space is suitable for all types of productions.

Studio

9.5m x 10m (max)

Small studio theatre for up to 80 people. This is a versatile space which can be used for performance, meetings, rehearsals and as a training venue. It has a computerised lighting rig and a basic sound system.

Conferences

Our rehearsal and performance spaces double as a suite of conference rooms, bookable throught the Theatre Manager, who will be happy to discuss all options for your event.
